Javan “J.” Harrell is a Case Manager with No Limits Brain Injury Services, He is a QBISP (Qualified Brain Injury Service Provider). With a medical and military background in the U.S. Navy for 8 years, he is well equipped for working with survivors of brain injuries. He also worked in Virginia Hospitals as a Clinical Care Technician after his time in the U.S. Navy. He started a military career in 2013 shortly after graduating high school and became a Hospital Corpsman, training in the medical field at Joint Base Sam Houston TX.

His notable duty stations include Naval Medical Center Portsmouth VA, Camp Lejeune NC, 24^th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Cherry Point NC, and Quantico VA. He was decorated with the following: Fleet Marine Force Pin, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals, Good Conduct Medal with second award, National Defense Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Global War on Terror expeditionary medal, Global War on Terror medal, Sea Service Ribbon, Rifle Marksman Ribbon, and Pistol Sharpshooter Ribbon. His proudest achievements include TCCC-I (Tactical Combat Casualty Care-Instructor), Underwater Helicopter Egress Certificate, as well as participating in operations in Africa, Middle East, Europe, and Haiti.  He is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. 

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2020 and his Master’s Degree in Health Information Management in 2022 from Purdue University Global. His interests are helping and advancing Veterans causes, and military family’s causes.
